Default removal of lowest middle dash panel (with cig outlets)

    Hello,

I'm trying to remove the lowest panel on the center dash, I have an access cab with the bench seat, 05 by the way. It's the piece the houses the 2 aux cigarette lighters, there's two plastic "buttons" on either side and I can feel the pointy thing on back but don't know how to take these off. It's a plastic circle with a small plastic dot in the center, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Rob

    Default

    piece of cake...

press the center of the "button". it will push inward and release the clip. the clip should slide out after you do this. you can do this with a tip of a screwdriver or somthing similar

to put them back on... pull the center out so it stick above the body of the clip.... slide the clip in... then press the center until its flush again.

if your break one.. they are like 1.25 at toyota.

i usually buy 5-10 of those if i break them.
