Re: Toyota Sunroof- what maint is required, if any? I had a sunroof on my '90 4Runner and didn't do anything to it for the 9 years I owned the vehicle, except cleaning the glass. Had one on my '99 4Runner too and didn't do anything on that one either. Neither one ever leaked or had a problem or opening/closing. I just hope I have the same good luck with the one on my '06 Tundra DoubleCab.

Re: Toyota Sunroof- what maint is required, if any? you have to be careful if you lube and what you use. don't want to attract dust and dirt to the mechanism. maybe a light silicone or teflon would work well. i also use some rubber or vinyl protectant on the seal to keep it pliable and sealing well.

Recently added: baby seat!
