Try doing a "search" on clear corners. As for most people, they have replaced the plastic tab that holds the corner in with a metal bolt.

BTW welcome to TS

The problem with mine was that the plastic tab on the back of the clear corner that snaps into the metal fingers on the truck was too small. I wrapped several layers of electrical tape around the tab. That along with replacing the plastic 'screw' thing with a metal bolt and nut took care of the problem for me.

When I installed mine, the drivers side one was too tight and when I pushed it into position it broke the little tab on the back which holds it tightly to the fender. I finally removed it, expoxied it up, and then trimmed the little tab to fit so it was snug but not overly tight. No problems since then. I'm still using the stock plastic retainers.
