Default PC 7336 random orbit buffer question...

I just got my 7336 and used it today to buff some scratches out and to put a coat of wax on, it worked real well, but i noticed that it didnt really spin when i had it pressed against the trucks panels, then when i would pull it away it would spool up and spin as well as vibrate. I know it is supposed to spin in 2 different orbits but it seems like the pad stops spinning as soon as i put pressure on the pad, and it just kinda vibrates. The vibration works well but i just wanted to make sure im not burning the motor or somethin becaues it feels like im holding it from wanting to spin.

No your fine, I got the PC 7424 buffer and performs the same way. Pretty much the only way your going to burn anything is pushing down way too hard while having the speed turned up . It won't necessarily rotate strictly in a circular motion when you press down on the buffer hence the name random orbit, but it will rotate. Hope this helps somewhat for you

Yeah, its doing what it is supposed to do, It kinda jiggles. Just dont have the pad loaded with polish/wax and pick it up off the paint and allow it to spin or it will sling stuff all over you and your truck!

haha yeah i definitely got sprayed a few times with wax, i learned that lesson the hard way

that thing makes it so much easier to wax, and it buffed out some substantial tree scratches from offroadin, its a great tool
