Default What would you use?

I drilled holes (1/4") in the line-xed plastic plugs in the bed floor at the cab.
They were Retrax drain holes.
I drilled each side two times because the bed was filling with water.
Now I have a cap on and need to fill the holes to keep out water.
What could I use?
I have a long truck load haul comming at the end of the month.
I need to water proof the bed.
Thanks for any suggestions!!

100% Silicone sealant probably stands up best in that environment. It also adheres to almost anything but itself. It can be removed if you need them open again. I'm surprised you had to drill holes to release water. My Access Cover isn't water tight and any water that gets in the bed drains out towards the bed front. I think those plastic plugs may just cover the bed access to the hold down bolts to the chassis, but don't quote me.

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to syphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????

Larry,
During one heavy downpour I had a half bed full of water.
I had a Retrax on the truck.
I weatherstipped all around and drilled drain holes.
The front of the bed had a lot of build up dirt under the canister.
Now I put on a cap.Mostly for dry cargo capacity.
I found a partial tube of Permatex Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant.
Would that be good?
Hate to buy a new one for a few squirts .
Thanks,
Rich

That should work fine. You might want to lightly rough up the surface if possible before you apply the silicone.

I had a Line-x spray over the plugs.
So that would mean cutting them out.
Thank You Larry.
Hopefully it will be dry for a day or two so I can get a roundtuit!
