Interior & ExteriorDiscussions about the interior, and exterior of your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "Good place to buy tow hitch?", within the Interior & Exterior forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
This isn't for my Tacoma, but I was wondering where you guys/gals have purchased your tow hitches from. I'm looking to help a friend install one on an Infinity SUV and we are just looking to get the best deal.
Thanks!

I found the cheapest I could get a decent one was from the little independetn shops. I tried the larg camping worlds and such but there mark up was crazy. Best bet is to call around. Shipping would probably be a pretty penny because of the weight. So local pickup may be your best choice.

Don't know if there is a Jiffy Hitch in your area, but they have installed a few hitches for me and always done a great job at a reasonable price. I did it myself on my Jeep Wrangler and it ended up with lot of cussing and a search for someone with small hands and long fingers as we tried to fish bolts on wires through the fender well! They have a website which was down as I wrote this - www.jiffyhitch.com
