Nothing has happened, just letting you know that I have had them for about a week after looking for these bulbs for about 6 months. PIAA just started making them. Had them special ordered to the accessorie store where I get my stuff and they are exactly what I was looking for.

gotcha. i took a look at that link. Look pretty good. When you bought them did it come with wiring harnesses or mounting things. I saw the bulbs, do you have to buy the housing separate?

This is a older pair of Hella's projector beam fog lights. I like how small they are and that I can turn them on when ever I like. They are the Micro DE series.

Apologies, did not know you didn't have the housing. I had factory fog lights, just swapped out the factory bulbs with the PIAA's. Did a quick search for an 01 Tundra and found this:

Hope this helps.

I have the stock housing and lights. I thought you added the PIAA in addition to those stock lights. So what you did was just change out the bulbs. I wonder if this would work on the 01 tundra. you didnt need new fuses or harnesses or anything like that....just plugged them in. And you could tell a noticable difference from the stock lights???

By any chance have you done the fog light mod so that you can turn on the fog lights even if your headlights arent on???

I got the 110w, no new fuses or harnesses, just plugged in the new bulbs. There is a definite difference. It will light up the road immediately in front of the vehicle with a bright yellow/gold light. Straight ahead it will beam a bright white light with a slight blue/purple tint. These lights will hit street signs much better also. Also during wet weather the illumination will not get "drowned out" and disappear like the stock lights. I had no idea there was a mod for fog lights on/headlights off. If you could send me that info, that would be great, I wondered if this was possible after putting in the new lights.

i have a tundra. the directions for it are at
http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...thout-daytime/

i am guessing there are similar directions for a sequia. i looked, but not for long. check the knowledge base forum under member mods, installations. If there are directions specific for the your model, i am guessing it would be there. i am new here.

i am gonna order those lights though. give them a try.

thanks for your help.
