I was looking at my truck and it looks like if I remove the filler right above the bumper (the 2004 grill would hit because it comes down lower than the 2000 grill) and put the new filler in that is only underneath each of the headlights on the 2004, the 2004 grill should fit on my 2000 Tundra. I am just wondering if the 2004 grill will mount to a 2000 hood. Has anyone done this?
i saw a 04 grill wit a 2000 chrome bumper on it the other day

The current longbed regular cabs have this grill with the chrome steel bumper. All Tundras should still come with steel bumpers.

Yea it does i've changed out my old grill on my old 2000 and updated it but you do need a new 03 up hood rod and the panel under the headlight's everything else is bolt up from there Pm if you need help...
