Question Rattle from Passenger side floor board seat belt assembly

Sorry for this post, but I hate rattles!!

Any ideas on how to diagnose and fix a Rattle from the Passenger side floor board seat belt assembly? At idle it rattles constantly. The Toyota service guys gave me the crazy look when I asked them. I guess to them if it runs it is fine.

Thanks, Jeremy

I can't say what the rattle is but it is not hard at all to take the cover off the seatbelt cover to SEE whats loose. I believe there is just 1 plastic screw holding it on.

I have similar noise from the roof seatbelt ancho on both sides like two metal parts clicking- I have taken off the cover and can't replicate it- I guess I could electrical tape everything in there but that seems extreme- I guess some noises were just meant to be....

My 2000 did this until I took off the cover and removed the bolt to see what the problem was. The bolt and washer were completely without any kind of lubricant from the factory, and the washer was gauling into the metal. I put some white lithium grease on the bolt and washer and the problem never came back. Wish the rattling windows were that easy to fix!
