Default Vent Shade problems.

I had vent shades installed on my 05 tundra for more of the look than anything else and I am having some problems now. They become unstuck and fly in the wind as I am driving. Is there some kind of sticky material I need to use to for them to stick back on.

Thanks.

Go to a hardware store and pick up some 3m double sided adhesive.

Why? They use the same tape made by 3M. If the sufaces are not perfectly clean and dry, it doesn't matter which brand you use.

Actually the WeatherTech vent shades fit in the window channel. No adhesive is needed and won't fly off in the wind.

I didn't know that but I was trying to make a point. All stick on vent shades use 3M tape so it wouldn't have mattered the brand. My point here is he asked how to fix what he has, not what he should have bought.

When you ask how to fix something, do you want a reply saying you shouldn't have bought it in the first place?
