Default new glass on tundra

I just had my glass replacement today at a total cost of $300.00 ....I have some questions, has anybody here ever gotten new glass on their Tundra yet? I have this red tape on the top and I hear a lot of wind noise (24 hrs to take the tape off but, I hope this wind noise is a direct result of the tape being there)..

Default Florida lol

yeah I like Florida and yeah I hate Georgia but one thing good about your state is insurance companies are required to fix broken glass. Georgia on the other hand sucks....

Sorry you're not enjoying Georgia....I loved Atlanta when I was a student.......sure as h_ _l didn't ride around in a vehicle as nice as yours either. Good luck with the glass and the studies!

Was that a dealer change or did some other company do it for you? Just wondering how much it's going to be to change my glass after it gets enough chips in it to be obnoxious after a couple years.

Cool

Had mine replaced earlier this year from a flying rock creating an 18" crack in the windshield. Used a well respected glass shop and no new wind noise after the install. If you have a noise problem recommend you take it back.

Don't forget to use something on the glass; I use Rain-X every 2-3 months, good insurance for reducing streaks/scraps marks caused by dust/road particles every time I use the windshield washers.
