Default Does anyone have leather seats?

I was thinking of getting a limited however it seems they are only making them right now with leather seats. I have never had leather seats and own 2 dogs. Does the leather scratch easy. Will the dogs ruin the seats? Also if I put a seat cover over the leather, will the seat cover wear and scratch the leather
Thanks

Default BUY LEATHER!

I have a GREAT DANE (135lbs at 14 months old and 44 inches from the ground to the top of her head, and 6ft tall when she stands up on her rear legs) and she rides in my Limited Tundra all the time. Leather is great as the dog hair does not stick to the seats, only the carpet. Plus I don't get that wet dog smell when the dog gets wet and lays on the back seat. The leather seat have held up great, as I put leather cleaner and conditioner on them monthly.

Trust me, BUY the LEATHER. You will be happy you did. My wifes car is cloth and its a pain in the @ss to get the dog hair off the cloth seats. Not to mention that when the dog gets wet the "wet dog" smell gets into the cloth and is hard to remove. All I have to do to my leather seats is wipe them off with leather cleaner. No spraying cleaners, vacuuming and scrubing with towels.

PS. Did I say BUY the LEATHER?

Default Leather is nice

I too have the leather and I could not be more happier with it. I only have a small Boston Terrier but she has black hair and I agree that all you have to do is wipe it down with conditioner and it smells and looks great.

Got the leather too. COMFY!! Great for those cross country trips.
I've had no problems with mine, other than after 70+K miles the driver's seat has been nicely broken in.

I have a 95lb Lab and a 40 lb Border COllie, both whome love riding in the back seat. They never damaged the leather back there, but with two dogs, there wasn't much space for those long hauls, so I just plain removed the seat and leveled the extar space...now they have tons O room and no seats to even worry about.

Otherwise, the leather is nice...easy to clean and care for.

I've got a moving pad that I put in the back seat for my 7 month old 95 pound Mastiff/Rottweiler puppy. The pad covers the seat completely and is plenty thick so I don't have to worry 'bout the leather. (Thank God he's finally getting used to riding and has quite getting car sick!!)

Go with the leather. My psycho (not seriously, she's a really smart dog) German Short Haired pointer puppy has done nothing to the seats (cept a little hair here and there and all over the car....).

buy the SR5 then add the TRD luxuary sport package leather. Much better seats , interior anc cheaper price, not to mention better quality leather.

1500.00 and classic soft trim. The seats look like my pic below. and the doors get done as well and carbon fiber acents all around the interior. Seats are much more comfortable now

News to me. I'm glad I got mine if that is the truth, cause I got nothing but huge compliments on it, even from my butt and back

Breathing Borla, I so envy your interior. I think they should be that way from the factory.

I've got a Limited with leather. My Bassett Hound loves the leather seats and the drool wipes right off of the door panels.

Thumbs up Leather holds up!

Had the OEM leather package in my original setup. Changed to the TRD setup to add to the comfort. Been away for 2 months. Is it true that TRD has discontinued the setup?

i've got an 02 SR5 with leather, i love it. i also have a 4 year old mutt, hes about 85 lbs. and knee hight. i have a bedliner too. so he rides in the back. i would never let my stinky, funky, dirty, hair-shedding, messy, stinky dog inside my truck. NEVER! he likes the bed just fine.
