Default TLC Nav DVD

Is the nav DVD the same for all Toyotas or does the TLC use something unique?

I have a 2003 TLC and I believe the DVD version is 2.1 and that 6.1 is out now. I've heard 7.1 will be out in a couple of months. Anyone know of sure and roughly how much does the dealership charge for a new nav DVD?

Thanks, Steve

Default Re: TLC Nav DVD

Average MSRP Dealer $ is 250.00 on all Toyota Map DVD's.

Map DVD's must be checked against the prior version already installed AND the model number of your OE Nav unit.

Don't get the wrong one by accident. It happens to many people and Toyota WILL NOT Take a Return on it! Beware!

Tip: Let dealer confirm exactly what version yu need to order, so when they order the "wrong Map DVD it is on them.

Yes, even the Dealers have ordered the Wrong Map DVD's by mistake.

Hope this helps.
