Default Torque master spark plugs...

Hey guys, i have been considering installing torque master spark plugs on my FZJ100 2UZ-FE LC, my brother who drives an 01 4runner pointed out the fact that these sparkplugs were offered for the 4runner but apparently wouldnt fit upon installation due to having 1 head instead of 2 (which is offered by the stock denso sparkplug)... it would be great if someone has already done it on his LC or if anyone has any idea... pls hit me up with a post... thanx

These spark plugs do not adhere to the standard heat range designation. (All of their line of spark plugs)

Expect a hit in performance.

I feel they are a lousy company for Aftermarket spark plugs.

In the same league as "Splitfire".

From experience, when it comes to Toyota vehicles, OE sparkplugs all the way! (Using OE Toyota Part numbers)

I agree, I would stick with OEM (Denso) spark plugs.

I must clarify... Some NGK's are direct replacement OE crossover Spark Plugs. and work real nice.

But, again I have experimented over the years, with Bosch, Splitfire, and all the rest.
These aftermarket Plugs just don't adhere to proper Heat range spec's. Engine will run like drastic CRAP. Been there and wasted my money.

If we were talking about a HP modified engine, Turbo or Blower, with an altered compression ratio and valve timing, then we could use aftermarket Plugs to alter the "Heat Range" of combustion.

But this does not apply to an OE unaltered Toyota engine design.

I need to add, I have experimented on my S/C Truck and the aftermarket plugs still dont work on it. Lucky that I didnt have to pay for them.
I use the TOYOTA recommended alternate heat range plug and it works like a champ.
