Default TRD+Unichip on TLC 100 VX 2006

Hi friends! I am an owner of TLC 2006 from Kazakhstan. I recently installed TRD compressor on my V8 4.7 engine. But the company who did the installation pluged Unichip instead of trd chip. After I tried the vehicle for about 40 minuites or so my computer showed errors (Engine Check, VSC TRC, VSC OFF). I showed it to several people and also to toyota dealer. They all said that its because of unichip. When they start a computer scan it shows a speed error or something. Plus it also sais that vehicle is moving at a speed of 33km/h while it is remaining still. What do you think? Did anyone had experience of installing TRD and coupling it with unichip? Thank you.

why not take it back to the person who installed the unichip for you and tell them to tune it properly?

Thanks. That would be logic of course. The guys who installed said that the error is not because of unichip. So I ordered genuine TRD chip. So eventually I guess they will have to tune my unichip or replace it with trd chip. Just wanted to know somebodys opinion.

Got everything fixed about month and a half ago. We figured out that the Unichip was made for the previous version of land cruiser that had only one velocity sensor wire. Mine has two. So after several hours of magic I had everything done. Till now my Land Cruiser is doing fine. Planning to replace stock plugs with some cold irridium greddy plugs (number 6).

I have just done the opposite thing, I have a 1999 LX470, and have bought a TRD kit for a 2003, and need to swap ecu's.

Do you know how much the TRD ecu was?
Do you want to sell your unichip?
