Just bought new 08 LC

Just bought a fully loaded 08 LC in San Diego county and the dealer gave me a $10,000 discount. Is this the wave of the future w/ all dealerships or did I just get lucky? Also any suggestions on mods for MPG's, there seems to be a lot of discussion on the tundra side w/ the same engine but have yet to see anything for the 08 LC.

This is the future of how Land Cruisers and all other gas guzzlers will sell. I'll tell you that even giving you a $10,000 discount, the dealership made enough money to keep them satisfied to have sold the thing anyway. It would likely have cost them more to keep the vehicle for a slightly better deal in the future.

My suggestion for a fuel economy modification is to take the $10,000 you saved on that beautiful Land Cruiser and get something small and practical to keep the Land Cruiser in the driveway for a while at a time...
