Default '99 LC no constant 12V at radio harness

Wondering if anyone can give me an idea on diagnosing a radio problem, I wanted to replace my stock radio on '99 LC, purchased a dash install harness kit, I wanted to make sure it fit so I removed my stock radio unplugged harness and plugged in the dash kit harness the fit was fine so I plugged my stock radio back in but now it won't turn on. I did not disconnect the battery or antenna cables but the key was out of ignition.

Checked fuses, they are all ok, everything else in the car works fine. Got my voltmeter out and noticed that I'm not getting any power in the harness to the battery 12V constant, Ign 12V and dimmer 12V get power when switching ACC.

I'm aware that '99 LC uses a amp located under driver seat... and power goes to it first. If I try and plug in harness back into radio there is a loud static noise in all speakers right before the plug seats in but once it seats properly all goes quiet and no power to unit with car on or off.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Go to IH8MUD - Home. It is a LC site. Some of the guys there know the LC's inside and out.
