Default Mom is Looking at Getting Newer Cruiser

So I've been around the Tundra fourms a bit and my mom is looking at getting a newer Crusier or the Lexus LX470 (2000+). She has a 1996 right now and is love with the thing but wants to upgrade. Is there anything we should look at when looking around? Any must have options? Also she was thinking about a Sequoia as well, what is the main difference? I know its like my tundra but just in SUV shape right? Any heads up and info to help us out would be great. I know she does want the V8 limited.

How much you looking to spend most newer Cruiser's come in V8 I'm not sure they put any more v6's in Cruisers.

We just looked at a White 2004 Lexus LX470 with all the options but the DVD player in the back. They were asking $29,950 at a dealership with about 47,000 miles. I wasn't sure if they came in the 4.0L V6 like the Tundras did.

Lx and Land cruiser is full time 4wd the seq is a part time 4wd 2 speed transfer case (depends on year)..

29k isn't too bad on the Lx i've seen them low around 25k in the atlanta area with the same number of miles..

Lx and land cruiser has always been v8 since 1998 it retains the same 4.7 liter as the tundra for 2000..4 runner retain the v6 and the v8 since 2003

Your asking the difference from the seq to the cruiser well for one price. LC has been the flag ship suv for a wile and the cheaper full sided seq have plenty of advanges like having more room vs the Lc.It all comes down to features and what you use your suv for? If passenger loading and room is something you seek go for the first gen seq. I like our second gen seq because space and loading was something i required yet i couldn't go wrong. I almost got the crewmax but the short bed and lack of 3rd seat really didn't open up to much.

Thanks for the info. What about crash tests for the two? LC vs. Seq? I would think the LC would do best.
