Default 1998 Landcruiser Question

My 1998 Landcruiser needs a new battery. Since I don't use the LC everyday, and only on the weekends, the battery is beginning to die on me. Apart from getting an original battery from the Toyota dealer and paying about $115, is there a better brand of battery out there that someone could recommend??

TIA

Get yourself an optima battery. They come in different colors and I'm not sure which one would be best for your application. If you posted this in the audio/video/electronics area you would get a better response I'm sure.

Thanks very much for your reply. I am currently in the process of doing some research on the Optima Battery. I have heard a lot of good things about the Optima. A couple of my BMW M3 buddies have had their batteries swapped for the lighter Optima Batteries, and they are very happy with it's performance.

Thanks
