I own a 1997 Collectors Edition. I bought it new, added a superchager to it a couple of years ago (Big help). I just added a center differental lock switch so I can use the factory lockers in high.
Bought a 2004 LC for my wife last summer. We LOVE this truck, and I kinda want one for myself, but can't really justify $120K in iron sitting in the garage, so one will have to do.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with it, other than the cheap plastic fake wood they glued to the dash / window switch panels.

I'm in the process of taking the wood trim out of my '94 FJ80. All it takes on the '94 is elbow grease. The plastic underneath is pristine!

Do you ever run in low range without the lockers?? I've ot my eye on the center diff. switch mod. Where'd you find yours? Man-A-Fre? SleeOffroad?
I drive a 93 FZJ80 Landcruiser and have been a Toyota Addict for Years!
I have been involved in offroad for about 10 years and have owned and heavily modified everything from a Tacoma, Jeeps, FJ60 Landcruiser, FJ40 Landcruiser, 4Runner, etc... My current rig is my favorite!
I am on a lot of the internet forum thingamajigs and have been for some time.
I try to do all my work myself and build everything that goes on my rig by hand. I usually document everything and put it on my website for others to use.

A friend and i also have a small fab company and build EVERYTHING for our rigs ourselves. We will be making products for the Tundra soon! Within the next month or so we will be offering rear bumpers, bed bars and some really nice sliders!
Here is a link to that site and some of our work (lame pics): http://www.stout-stuff.com/

Proud owner of a 1999 with 180k running like a top. Previously owned a '65 FJ40 and a 1996 FZJ 80. Also owned multiple 4runners and Pickups including a 1997 T100 and currently 2000 Tundra. Loved every one.
I have a small fleet of increasingly old Cruisers. I'm a diesel biggot and I've been holding out for Toyota's return importing diesels to Canada. The Tundra is the next hope and that's why I'm here.
