I want one of those or one of the FJ45's. We'll see what happens. I wonder how much fabbing is involved on fitting the 4.7V8 in a cruiser??? HMMMM???

Thanks for the comments. I cant wait till its done. probably not till Feb. next year.

I would like to do the 4.7 swap just to keep it as much Toyota as possible.

Maybe on the next project

There is some guy parting out his sequoia. You might be able to get everything pretty cheap
Engine
wire harness
ECU's
Trans

Somebody has already fitted a 4.7 to a FJ55, and then he supercharged it. It kicks ***!

I considered putting one in my 60. An entire drivetrain was on ebay for about 2 grand...but I shyed away because of the additional costs involved, and their unknown.

Thats awesome, It looks like he used the the whole drivetain with the rear axle.
I would like to see it in person.

Your in tehachapi....you just need to make sure your cruiser is ready and make it to Surf N' Turf (Pismo Dunes) next year, and you'll see it.

Yeah my buddy went to the surf n turf this year.

That is his cruiser next to mine.
hopefully mine will be running next year. Then i can tow it with my tundra and play with both of them in the sand.
