Talking Interior Lights

bought a SUV tent for our LC and cannot turn off the courtesy side door lights with the tailgate down. I can turn off cab and rear passenger area dome lights off, but no idea on how to turn off door lights so I can use LC as sleeping/tent for squimish/non camping wife. Any ideas-don't want to use up battery.

Default Re: Interior Lights

Not sure on the 100 series but on my 80 I have to "lock" the latches for the upper and lower tailgates which then kills the lights. Just have to make sure to unlock them before closing them or they slam and clunk against the lock plate. I take a screwdriver and cam the lock over until it clicks locked, very simple. Give it a try.
