I CAN FEEL THE 4X4 IN THE LOW ENGAGES, BUT DO NOT FEEL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE HIGH2 TO HIGH4, ALSO, DOES A LIGHT NEEDS TO COME UP FOR THE LOCK DIFFERENTIAL WHEN YOU SELECT IT?? ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED, EMAIL ME WITH COMMENTS PLEASE

Might be too of a basic answer, but your car is 4x4 all the time, high or low, does not matter.

On the dash, you have one push button och one "twist" nob:

The button locks the center differential, thereby providing equal power to both front and rear axles. The light in the dash does NOT come one until the diff is locked/engaged. Conversely, the light does not go OFF until the diff lock is disengaged, even if you have "released" the button.

The "twist" nob (left of steering wheel) locks the rear differential, thereby providing equal power to both left and right rear wheels. The light in the dash does NOT come one until the diff is locked/engaged. Conversely, the light does not come OFF until the diff lock is disengaged, even if you have turned the button to "off".

If diff does not engage, or does not disengage, try moving car gently forward or backward. That'll do it on fully functional equipment.

If that does not help, actuators might be damaged, cables worn, corrosion in connectors, blown fuses. You name it. Can be anything between the button and the "lock".

And to finish on a "too" basic note. Driving on a "solid" surface (tarmac/ashpalt) with locked diffs is a good way to wreak havoc on your drive train (we used to do it in the army and literally fell how the trucks would "jump" once the tires would not stretch any longer - and yes, it was a bit of heavier gear, heavy duty mil spec Volvo and Scania off road vehicles).
