99 landcruiser tail light removal

I need to replace a tail light bulb on a 99 landcruiser. However, after removing the 2 bolts that hold the inner edge of the assembly in, I can't figure out how to completely slide the assembly out. I'm afraid to force it out. It swings out about an inch, but the nothing I've tried will get the outside to pop out. Anyone have any suggestions?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the tail light assembly on a 99 Landcruiser? After opening the tailgate and removing the two bolts, I can swing the assembly out about an inch. However, I can't get the outside edge of the assembly to pop out. I'm afraid to force it. Any suggestions?

pro like removing the tundra taillight's and that you need to apply some effort on getting a plastic putty knife and prying it loose..
