Default Rear shock replacement question?

Need help in removing rear shocks on a 99 Land Cruiser. How do you get to the top nut? Is it accessed under the carpet under the back seat? I've found an access port under there but am not sure what to do from there. I haven't had time in daylight hours to get under the vehicle and take a close look at it.

I finally had a chance to look at this in the daylight. Access to the upper nut on the rear shocks is limited on the drivers side, but much easier than the passsenger side. The passenger side is a b___h. The exhaust pipe obscures your vision and dramatically limits space to move. A 7/8 racheting wrench would have been worth any price if I could have found one. It took me about 4 hours to replace all 4 shocks with Bilstein HD's. The ride is considerably better than with the OEM's.(Second set at 118k). They eliminated the sway on turning and actually smoothed out the ride noticeably compared to the OEM's. I bought them on ebay from Shock&spring.com for $249.00 with free shipping. He shipped promptly, btw. Part #'s were BE5-2739H1 for the front and 2740 for the rear.
