This is a discussion thread titled "1999 RX300 Rattle sound", within the Lexus forum, part of the Cars & Vans Forums category.
Hello everyone, I just bought a used Lexus RX300 and there seems to be a rattle noise from the right front suspension/fender area when I go over bumps. The car handles great, rides smooth, doesn't sound like the strut, anyone ever ran into this before?
Also are the TSB/wiring .pdf's/etc. for Lexus on this site? I know I have pulled them for my Tundra and Tacoma here, but didn't see any for Lexus.
Thanks for the help!!
Sean

Yes, there is a TSB for the UPPER STRUT MOUNTS. They need to be replaced. I would do both at the same time.

Awesome!! Anything on the power door lock actuator? Also where are the TSB's stored these days? I know I always had a hard time for some reason finding them awhile back, but now I just have plain given up and resorted to asking, lol.... I thought they were in the knowledgebase section but don't see them. I used to grab the wiring diagrams off of their for my tundra, and found out about the extended crank problem on my cousins Tacoma using them, so I love to read them.
Thanks again for the quick response and help, I really appreciate it!
