work. After taking my wifes 06' GS430 to a dealer for 10K service, I have had to have the air blower motor replaced and now I have noticed the trunk switch does not work. Of coutrse, everything worked fine when I took it in.The remote opens the trunk and when the switch in the glove box is activated the remote won't work as designed. Any ideas for me to try? I really don't want to use this dealer again and don't want to have to drive the distance to the next closest one. I am wondering if it isn't something that needs re-programming after power was removed to fix their mistake.

It sounds like it is working correctly.

If you push the switch in the glove box, this switch is a disable (lock) so a valet cannot open the trunk.

The trunk opener switch is on the drivers side of the dash.

OR
Maybe they forgot to re-plug it in
