Default es330 window motor

Has anybody had problems with passenger side windows not going down? Did you have the dealer fix it? They say it's the motor and want $705. There has to be a better way.

Thanks

Default Re: es330 window motor

update: Since it's still on the first page.

I ended up finding one on ebay for $100, bought a repair manual
and fixed it myself. The Driver is much happier now.

Default Re: es330 window motor

On my wife's 05 if she does not use the rear windows during the summer months the rubber seal will stick to the glass and it will not work. I have cleaned the rubber and it will still stick if it hasn't been used for more than a month. I have her use the unlock function on the key fob to bring all of the windows down at least once a week so we do not have the sticking window problem.
