Default 98 Lexus ES300 P1153 O2 sensor?

Hi,

I'm working my moms car and the OBD II reader says p1153. I assume this is the O2 sensor. I looked up the code and it says

P1153
Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Circuit Response Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

Do these models take the regular O2 sensors or the Air/Fuel O2 sensor?

Thanks.
Rich

i believe that the front would be air/fuel ratio sensors and the rear just regular o2 sensors, the front retails at $206 at dealer.

My CEL came on in my '02 ES300.

Had it scanned at Autozone, and it gave two codes.

Apparently, Sensor 1 in BOTH banks need replacement.

Is there a cheap online OEM retailer?

I had same problem with my 99 RX300. Did research on what can I do to fix it with minimum $$$ contribution as I didn't want to spend $160-$130 for damn sensor( I am not talking about going to dealership and spend $$$$$ for no reason) What I found is Denso O2 sensor, not air flow sensor everybody talking about. My original AF sensor was 89467-48011 and I installed Denso 234-9009 O2 instead of it for $50 only, on ebay!!!!! Reset check engine light, disconnect battery, take the old one out and put the new on in, connect the battery, Done. Drive 50-60 miles and go to emmission test. Hope this information will help someone.
