I saw this on another forum and thought I would share it here. Looks like the 06 LX and LC will get a touched up. I wonder if this is why they were holding out on the VVT-i motor in these SUV's. I really wanna know if the VVT-i will make it to the LC. Any idea on how much longer the current LC will be with us?

I posted this in the Land Cruiser section too. It pertains to both.

New tail lights, green tinted headlights and new wheels are the obvious. No HID still??

Links don't work for me either.
I doubt there will ever be a HID option,the headlights just sit too high to prevent glaring oncoming drivers.

Toyota does make a Lexus LX470 model overseas somewhere with HID lights. I can't remember where it was but they do have a model with it. That model also has the special cruise control found on the ls and rear back up sensors. I think it was in the middle east but I not 100% sure. I will try and find it.

These links don't mean anything. I don't see these models making it to the US. They appear to be models overseas and are not a refresh or a redesign.

That is the news for the 06 LX470. 275 HP, is the big one. There are a bunch of other upgrades too. Comes out end of this month.

That will make 3 possible (truck based) Lexus SUVs and all powered by 4.7L VVT-i: LX, JX and GX.
