Default 2000 lx470 check engine light

This is my wife's vehicle and she recently had some trouble with her Lexus LX470 suv. The check engine light came on and at the same time the engine was shaking a little. So she decided to park the car at home and felt something needed to be done. My question is when I started the engine, not only was the check engine light on, but both the VSC Trac light and VSC Off light came on. I noticed the engine was shaking also. Can anyone suggest what might be causing this problem?

It's normal for the VSC/TRAC lights to turn on when the MIL is on. I suggest having the code(s) scanned since several things can cause the vehicle to idle roughly.
