Default 02 Sensor - 2001 IS 300

Well, the car just turned 70K miles and the "Check Engine" light came on. A local "Japanese Car" shop did a free check of the computer and came up with a failing 02 sensor, bank 2.

Anyone have any insight on how best to get this fixed? My experience with the "local" stealership (40 miles away) prohibits me from patronizing them... perhaps the local (in-town) Toyota dealer or the nice guy that helped out with the free "check?"

FYI: the nice guy quoted me "about $200" for this fix.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

And yes, it IS raining again here in the beautiful PNW!

O-2 sensors can be installed by anyone, but you'll have to buy the part from a Lexus dealership. The part number is 89465-53110. I can sell it to you for less than $200, contact me via PM if you are interested.
