Default RX300 Door lock pops back up.

When we use the remote to lock the car, the drivers door sounds like it locks, but then it pops back unlocked. If we lock it with the key, it stays locked.

Any suggestions?

It sounds like a door lock acuator might be bad. It's part of the door lock assembly. Your best bet is to have a technition look at it to make sure that it's not something more simple than that. The part number for the door lock is 69040-48020.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to take a look at it myself first to see if I see anything obvious.

ditto, to tell for sure if it is the actuator, sit in it and hit the lock button, youll most likely notice that the lock on the inside door handle only moves a little bit instead of fully engaging the locked position.
