Hi. New member. 06 Gs430,loaded,bought Sept 05 and only have 4500 miles. I will be doing oil change myself soon. Any Threads or hints for this?

I thought the first two oil change for Lexus cars and trucks were free of charge.

I will be putting in Mobil1 and I trust no one at any dealership to do even a simple oil change and not cause a problem. Too many bad expierences,

I decided to have Pohanka Lexus do my complimentary 5K service and am very happy.They did a great job.

Hi toeofgoat, and to everyone else. I am a new member as well and beginning my search for advice/data/opinions on my vehicle, 1998 LX470.

It's at 98K, about out of the extended warranty, so I'm gearing up for doing some service myself. Just had a timing belt and throttle body replaced and the idle is sitting between 1000 and 1100 rpm in park or neutral, warmed up, no a/c. Doesn't sound normal to me. Anyone got any suggestions?

Possible vacuum leak from the throttle body change?!
