Default need new master key

I am swapping out my ecu for a new ecu because I fried the old one (Don't ask how), but now I need a new master key for the new ecu since the place i ordered from gave me only a valet key.

My questions are: can I just call lexus and order a new master key? What information do they need to give me a new key (i.e. VIN # or just the code from the new ecu)?

Yes, just call your local dealership. Have your VIN number handy. Also, they may require you to have proof of ownership (such as the registration). It takes our dealership about 2 days to get a key in.

Aren't you still going to need to reset the IMMO? Unless he's also replaced the the lock set then the new ECU should be able to be reset to his old master key.
