Default What is going on with Lexus and Sirius?

I posted this in the "audio" section, but have not had any response, so I thought I would give it a shot here...............

I just purchased an '06 LS430 which had XM installed. I made the deal with the understanding that the dealer would swap the XM reciever with one for Sirius. The problem is they tried to order the Sirius kit, and the Lexus parts warehouse would not send them one. They said that they could not "authorized" the sending out of any Sirius recievers until futher notice, even though in Dallas they had over 60 avaliable and there were over 900 nationwide. They did not give my dealer any explantion why, or it they did, I wasn't told. I have done some web searches and have discovered that there are other people in my same situation. I have emailed Lexus trying to get an answer, but so far I have recieved nothing from them. Does anyone have any information on this? I have had Sirius in the last two vehicles I have owned, and this was a "must have"! Heck, it's football season, and I am afraid that I won't have Sirius when the season starts!!!!!!

I also would like to add this. I emailed Sirius, and they knew nothing about this either! I find it difficult to believe that neither them nor Lexus have any thing to say, yet I know I am not the only person with this problem.

There is a quality issue with the sirius. A friend of mine has one and they installed the unit (one of the first) and it would cut in and out all the time. The antenna is really large too and fits on the front windshield. This was in an ES so it may be different in yours but I doubt it.
