Default LEXUS VIN Interpretation

Does anyone have a handout or web page that describes each alpha/numeric from a LEXUS ES300 ? I know the first letter is
where the vehicle was manufactured but beyond that, I'm trying
to match up leather seat dye to the interior seat color. Thanks, S.W.

The vin in its basic format will do nothing to get you seat colors.
If you call a lexus dealer they will be able to run your vin in their parts cataloging and get you the trim code.
The trim code will tell you the basic color i.e. oak/graphite/grey/maroon, but if you are looking for shades or specific color matching info. I believe you are out of luck.
(the trim code is also printed on the certification label)
Should be 4 digits.

Check the VIN stick on the inside of the driver's side door. Trim codes start with LAxx. For example, LA00. You can also call your local Lexus dealership, give them your VIN and they can tell you the code as well.

I'm not sure if you tried registering on the Lexus.com website...you enter your VIN and the site will update with your actual color.
