Default Any problems with manually folding power folding rearview mirrors

Hello,
Not realizing that our Lexus GS350 had power folding rearview side mirrors, my wife has been manually folding the mirrors back when parking in tight spaces. Does anyone know if this will cause any potential problems or damage to the motor or mirror?

The mirrors are designed to breakaway manually anyways in the event of being accidently hit anyways, right?

Thanks!
