Glad to be here, along with my fleet of Toyotas: '90 Camry, '98 Camry, '94 Celica, '99 Lexus. Previously owned a 4 Run'r. I tinker a lot, mostly to the good. But, I've also been known to screw up big-time. Nothing like having the tools and knowledge to save big bucks on repairs.
Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Lexus Owners Introduce Yourself Her
Been running an all Toyota family since '92. Presently have an '89 Celica All Trac turbo with the ST185 swap (son), '04 Sienna (wife), '05 Matrix AWD (daughter) and an '06 IS350 (me) The Celica is the only car we do all the work on ourselves, the others are dealer maintained. Our Toyota dealer is allot better than my Lexus dealer, but it's still early yet, we'll see how they progress.

HI all,
Just a little about myself. Wife has a 2002 SC430 with some cd changer issues. It won't accept or play any cd's. Hope I can tap into all of the knowledge on the forum to resolve the problem. Don't hold it against me but I'm a Corvette guy- 65 coupe and 78 silver anniver. Love car's and always have a little grease or oil under the fingernails. Don't forget Oil and blood DO mix.

Sorry, but I don't know if I'm okay asking this question here. I can't find any place in which to post it.
I was planning to buy an '07 4Runner, but saw a 2000 Lexus LX470 for sale ( I can't afford the '07 Lexus (72K)). Suggestions: New vehicle with 0 miles, or old one, that supposedly will run forever. Does the ride of the Lexus justify the purchase?
Terry

Can anyone please tell me if it is okay have my coolant changed with Shell Dex-cool antifreeze instead of Toyota brand coolant? I have a 2000 LS 499 that needs the 120k service. Thanks, Hank

Thks for letting me join, own a lexus rx300 2001 model in the UK wish I was in the states, finding parts here is like looking for gold dust on the footwalk, unless you shop at the main dealer - cost a plenty.#
Already had some great help from the posts before joining.
