2004 LS430 - 2006 6spd. trans differences

Anyone know the differences between the 2004 6spd. automatic and later 6spds. ?

I was told they are not the same transmissions ?

I could be better versed in this area, but to my knowledge the transmissions are all A761E for all of the UCF30-II models. There are often (usually insignificant) part updates between the years, but the '04 model had a recall for a shift lock issue, and I'm wondering if that is what your source is referring to.
