05 Toco Fogs on w/park lts, low or high beam

This mod allows the fog lights to illuminate with the parking lights, low beam headlights, or high beam headlights. It is different from the other Tacoma fog light mod, in that the low and high beam headlights are not on at the same time.

First, identify the fog light relay in the fuse/relay box under the hood, next to the battery. Gently remove it. The male terminal closest to the engine and the firewall is the one that needs to be bent. Gently bend it outwards, so it will be sticking out when you plug the relay back in. This is the terminal that would normally receive 12 V+ from the low beam headlights. Then attach a female spade connector to a piece of light gauge wire(18-22 will do, not much current here). Plug the spade connector into the terminal that you just bent over, and reinstall the relay. Connect the wire that you just attached to the relay and splice it into the parking light, 12 V+ wire(green wire) Caution: Don’t get the turn signal or headlight wire, the parking lights are the outboard lights. Tape up & secure your connections and voila!, fog lights on with the parking lights, low beam headlights, or high beam headlights. You can still turn the fogs on/off with the fog light switch on lower left instrument panel.
