Default Tacoma Brighter Front/Rear Signals

Since '05+ Tacoma front and rear signal lamps only utilize high filament (27W). The 4157/3157 (27/8W) are dual filament bulbs. The easiest way to utilize low filament is to bend both low contact wires to high side.

Since signal/hazard lamps are used in short duration only. Overheating should be no problem. The amperage increase is <1/3 so wiring should be no problem. Besides brighter signal, there's benefit of redundancy.

BTW, this mod also works for other 3157/4157 signal only lamps. Not combination of signal/parking or signal/brake/parking lamps.

Will post pics later if requested.

See my gallery.

Basically, I bent the leads for low filament next to high filament leads.

Be sure the orientation is correct or there will be no lights at all.
