WOW I am retarded.... I guess I got a little too excited when I was working on my truck. I cut the wire for pin 17 on J29, not pin 5. Both are grey and the one I cut was fat and more obvious so I just snipped away! I am going to rewire everything later today when I get home and hopefully everything will be working properly, I can't see why they wouldn't.

Right now I have the wire going from the forward side of the diode not connected to anything, and the grey wire is cut. I thought the grey wire is what controlled the DRLs and without it I wouldn't have any... For the wiring inside, I cut the thick grey wire coming out of the J29 relay, and tapped into the solid white wire coming out of the same relay. I just can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong.

You should still have drl's but they should be white all the time and turn amber with your turn signal. I put a switch inline so I could turn them off completly. Is that your question? Its been a long time since I did it. I'll have to go back and read thru the thread if that doesn't answer your question.

Hey, I just bought the V-LEDs dual color LEDs and I cannot seem to get them to work with my DRLs. I noticed that you got them to work with yours so I was wondering if you could help me out.

So far I have put the 1.5 amp diodes in series with the pink and red wires on their respective sides and soldered the new wire onto the striped side of the diode (facing the LED). I then ran this wire back through the firewall. I have cut the thick grey wire coming out of relay J29, and tapped the new wire into the white wire coming out of the same relay.

I was under the assumption that by cutting the grey wire, I would no longer have DRLs. But I do... Any suggestions would be great!
