hey, i received the dvd and i appreciate it. unfortunately after placing it in my 5435 with no luck, im back to believing that it may be something else wrong with my unit. i hear the unit spinning and attempting to read the dvd but nothing happens. when i reset the unit via battery disconnect the unit boots immediately to the check map disc screen. any ideas of what my issue might be? do you think a dirty lens would create this problem? if so, would a standard cd lens cleaner work?? i really have no idea what to do. Also, do you think it could be a security issue? maybe it needs the original boot disc?

thank you very much the dvd fixed my gps problem =D, also i was wondering where can i get a replacing screen for a 5435, mi screen is pealing and i dont think its a cover, how can i fix that? is there something i can use to remove it? i dont want to sand it since its a screen. any advices how can i fix it or where can i get a replacement?

Hello there, i have a question.
i own a 5435 and have the stock map disk, (have ground parking wire) it shows the map but no voice guidance comes while driving only shows me how the car moves thru the map. is there any way you could please help me set up my unit so it will tell me where to turn and etc? id really appreciate it.

send me an email if you have knowledge of mdv-09d 3.2 for AVN 5435 and if you know why all my added accessories appear and disappear on their own whim. e.g. The CDHX1,CDHX2 and Sirus Satelite will appear then just disappear and then if you do get to use one of the three while playing it reverts to FM.....
