I didn't make a post, but I followed someone else's post. It's on here somewhere. Try searching for V-1 or radar detector. It was a while ago when I did that mod.

DrBundy, did you make a post of hard wiring your V-1 in? I had done it on my Avalanche and it was great not having the darn cord hanging down my dash and I love it at the top of the windshield, seems like it gives the rear facing sensors more open area to the back glass instead of shooting through me and the seats to pick up rear signals. I have thought about this one since i got the truck in July, just did not know if anyone had scoop on which wires to tie in for key on power source. Thanks,
