What's going on Hippo? I had a private message on here, so it gave me an excuse to look around the old site. How's retirement been treating you? I guess you've been out a while now? I'm still going to school, I graduated from the local jr college and now I go to LSU-Shreveport. I tried to do nursing but quickly found out that science is my weak point, so I changed back to marketing. Nothing else has changed really, except my son is growing too fast!! I just had another Compensation and Pension exam because of my surgery. It took them over a year to approve my temporary 100% for my surgery and then to schedule the new exam. The doctor who did my exam said "the bad news is you're pretty screwed up, the good news is you'll be getting more money"... lo! Well, I hope to hear back from you sometime. Hope you have a great weekend.

I had a 360° (anterior/posterior) lumbar spinal fusion at l5-s1. I have cadaver bone and a whole lot of titanium screws and rods holding me together. Oh and lots of staples and stitches too. Had the surgery on December 15 and I'm just now feeling human again. I've been plagued be this problem since 2008 so it was time to have it done. Hopefully in about 6 months ill feel 30 again and not be held back so much. It got to the point where I could barely make it through the yard work without wanting to die.
I hope your family had a great holiday season, I know we did!

howdy doody! i have joined up over at tundratalk.net as it appears that things are a bit more liberal over there. i'll probably drop in here from time to time, but it is more enjoyable for the most part over at tt. lots of good folks here though for sure!

hey andy! i was in our local kawasaki/ktm dealer today. caught myself looking over the 450's. they looked awsome! even the 250's and 350's looked good too! best for me to stay off motorcycles though i'd say. i road 3 and 4 wheelers for 20 years but haven't owned one in a couple 3 years. get all that riding in you can man! blessings brother!

sounds like you had a great time, i am not that much of a fisherman, now since i'm getting a bit older the idea is more appealing though..!!

diving in the netherlands doesn't attract me at all, in warmer climate, i think i would love that..!! and no, i'm not claustrofobic..!!

Lol...have fun at that reunion if you can make it there (and hopefully you do!). I hear you on the scratches. I've gotten 2 of those and found 2 small dents in the past 2 weeks, when I didn't have squat in a year and a half! Such is life, right?
