  1. Yeah I still have them, but I'm going to hold onto them.

Do you still have those front tube doors? Available for sale by any chance?
  3. I'm not really sure what's out there now, but I'm pretty sure you could run some on the rear with the eye bolt conversion. They should perform as well as any other shock as far as load handling capability is concerned, but they will perform better in the fast off-road stuff because they are more tunable and should run cooler.

    Hey jjc,
Are there any piggyback rear shocks out there that the 1st gen's can use without any modifications?
To be truthful, I see them on the Ford Raptor, and I want that!! But on the other hand, will it be able to handle a load in the bed of the truck or would they just be for haveing fun running fast on dirt, pothole infested roads. I just want the best of both worlds - with the extended wheel too. Sorry so long winded. But you are the one with the CRACKED OUT TUNDRA that everyone wants to run away with and never come back. Ask anyone!!!!

Very nice! I spend alot of time in Truckee over the summer and winter. Very cool little town with alot of exploring outside of it, for now at least. If you look in my gallery you will see most of my wheelin is in Truckee and some at the Rubi. One day i hope for my Tundra to look something like yours, but that would be hard to do, or just buy a little Samurai and use the Tundra as a tow rig lol. Good luck!!!!!
  6. For the Rubicon we actually had it shipped out to PartsMike's place in Auburn and flew out a week early to visit my grandmother and vacation up the coast with a rental car. We then left the rental at PartsMike and jumped in the Tundra and wheeled the Rubicon for 3 days and then hung out in the Tahoe/Truckee area for another 3 days before flying home.

Your right about the Rubicon, some of the best scenery. Did you tow your truck all the way over here? That must of been a trip!! Nice Tundra.
  8. Thanks. I think it's pretty tough to beat the Rubicon, it's an awesome trail and the scenery in the Sierras goes unmatched in my opinion!
