Hi Koan,

Just read that you had a problem w/ the supplied harness for the Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller you installed. You said that the plug did not fit. It seems I'm having the same problem. I ran the harness from the cubby hole location to where the factory plug is and the plug on the end of Tekonsha's harness doesn't seem to fit my factory plug, in addition to the harness being just a bit too short. I feel like I routed it as directly as I could and it just doesn't quite have the slack to go between the cubby and the factory plug. Did your factory plug have much slack in the wiring? Mine doesn't seem to have much at all which would make it a real pain to splice if I end up having to go that route. The other problem is that I bought my '07 Tundra used and the previous owner must have taken the factory harness that's in the glovebox out b/c it wasn't in there when I bought the truck.

I wonder if some of the boxes w/ the 3040-P harnesses are mislabeled?
