When I first put the arms on with the 2" coils I had major rubbbing (5"). It was all inside the wheel well though. I think if I had a 40 series tire it could reduce that but I don't need tires right now. I do have rubbing on the rear. Driveways that are steep cause the rear axle to articulate a bit more and the tire rubs the inner lip of the wheel well where the inner plastic mounts to the body. I mean used to mount, they rubbed clean off. HEHE Some trimming on the tabs wouldreduce the chance of scrubbing the tire but you would loose the mount location for the inner fender well plastics at that one point. I'll get some pics to ya. By the way what size tire are you running? Mine are 305/45/22 which are slightly larger (.7") than stock so that small increase for me may be a factor in the scrubbing.

Cleanlyness does not bother me. I'm interested in the fender gap and making sure my tires dont rub with the 4" front drop. I looked at your truck and see we are running a simaliar wheel so I dont think rubbing should be an issue. Feel free to e-mail pics I rarley come to Tundra solutions. I'm usually on Tundratalk.net as Tundra5-0.
    Thanks, Jeff

I hava a belltech 4 inch flip kit on the rear. I chose that one because it was a true bolt. I did not have to cut anything off to make it fit. It seems to be more of a 5 inch drop though because it is lower than when I had the 4" leaf springs from my ground force kit. By the way the pics I have in my album are with the 2/4 GF kit. I originally got the flip kit to rid my ride of the horrible ride with the ground force springs. the change made the back lower than the front. So I added the arms and deleted the front GF coils. I have not posted any yet with the arms and flip kit. Still working on it. I have not washed the beast in a while so thats first on my list.

Thanks for the input. I saw some pics of your truck and it looks good. What rear kit did you go with? You are still using the stock coils on the front right?
Sorry for all the questions, I just dont want to waste any money.

I do have the DJM arms. The ride is much better than with the 2" coils I had. The front rides just like it did when it was stock. I had a few issues after the install with alignment and a small issue during the install that. The arms bolted right into place with out any fuss. The hard part was getting the ball joints off the OEM arms. The alignment issues were from combining the arms with drop coils. They don't work together. I did the work myself on jack stands in about 4 hours elapsed time. 2 days total with the ball joint removal issue. I have noticed that the truck tends to wander a lttle when I hit pot holes or sharp bumps. Install is straight forward, alignment is straight forward (with OEM coils), ride quality is near or maybe slightly better than stock. I would recommend using a synthetic grease for the poly bushings. They will sound like an old cadi in about a week with regular grease.
I'll get some pics ofr you in a couple of days.

I was told by Marky Mark that you have the DJM 3" front drop. I have a few questions. How is the ride? How was the install? and could you e-mail me some pics of your truck?
My e-mail is jbw1006@verizon.net. I have the same truck as you with 22" wheels and want to lower it.
    Thanks for any help, Jeff
