Hey... I am a new member and this is my first post

I have a 99 I4 camry. few months ago the check engine light came on. First time i got it diagnosed, my mechanic said it was the EGR valve and so had that replaced. the light came on after a day or so. After a few days a whistling sound started as well. the sound start about 5-10 mins of driving (guessing till the car warms up to the running temp) and its there the whole time as long as the pressure is light on the gas pedal as soon as I push it up to 3k rpm or so sound goes off till i ease up on the pedal. diagnostics gave me P0441 & P0446 and the mechanic put it up on the hoist to check it out and said it was the charcoal canister leaking. And my car has taken a major hit on the fuel consumption since this problem start (from 10% to currently about 25%-30% of what i used to get). was wanderning if that is actually the problem because spent quiet a bit on the EGR valve and feel like that was money down the drain.

I'll do what I can to let you know. I'm not too experienced with this issue so I'll talk to the guys helping me out. The studs are from napa and they are a "hammer" tight fit, not "pressed". They will tack them in place so they never get bumped out during a wheel change. I hope that makes some kind of sense but I'll try to shoot you the part number or picture of the part. Thanks again!

Thanks for the lug idea. This has been a total mess! It looks as though the Boss 331's aren't a great fit for my Sequoia after all. We may have found longer studs but I will look for the lug as well.

I was directed to you to maybe find an answer to my problem. I have a 2008 Sequoia with custom wheels. I was getting my wheels refinished and it was brought to my attention that the lug nuts were barely threading on the studs. I've been searching all over for extended studs but I'm not having any luck. Are there any solutions you may have in mind for this problem? Also, I am now paranoid that my wheels will fall off at any moment, so I'm looking for the "strongest" and best solution. Thank you.

WOLVES :

America's wolves were nearly eradicated in the 20th century. Now, after a remarkable recovery in parts of the country, wolves are once more threatened.
  • In the Northern Rockies… the federal government has put forth a proposal that could lead to the slaughter of hundreds of wolves in Idaho and Wyoming. Even Yellowstone wolves could be shot on site if they wander outside the park's boundaries!
  • In Alaska… state officials continue to allow airborne gunners to kill hundreds
